How to measure the hair length
How to measure the hair length
We measure the length of hair when the hair be stretched to straight. That means the curly or wavy hair will look shorter than the straight hair although they are in the same length.
For example, the wigs in the picture are all in 14inches. They are in straight hair, body wave, brazilian curl, Afro curl…etc. It’s obvious that the straight hair looks longer than the wavy and curly hair although they are in the same hair length 14inches.
Measure Straight Hair, Sample length 14inches
1. Take a strand of hair
2. Measure from hair strand root beginning at lace to the tip.
*Not every hair is the same length and there is some shorter hair. We use some shorter hair to make out natural layers just like the hairs grown up on the scalp with different hair length, and in this way, we can cut down the production costs making you getting your wigs with lower price. The hair length shown on our site is the longest hair in the hair strand. Only the longest hair can reach the length.
Measure Wavy&Curly Hair. Sample length 14inches
1. Take a strand of hair, pull the hair to straight as possible as you can.
2. Measure from hair strand root beginning at lace to the tip.
*Most curly & wavy hair is curled by straight hair. Not every hair is the same length and there is some shorter hair. We use some shorter hair to make out natural layers just like the hairs grown up on the scalp with different hair length, and in this way, we can cut down the production costs making you getting your wigs with lower price. The hair length shown on our site is the longest hair in the hair strand. Only the longest hair can reach the length.
When you measure the curly & wavy hair, the hair can’t become very straight although you pull it to straight. Therefore, the length may be a little shorter or longer. These cases all reach the length standard.
